Hi, I'm using KDE 3.5.1 with Kontact 1.2 and I discover that it's possible to move contact cards between address books. There is an item in the context menu and in the toolbar with the label "Store Contact In". If you select a contact and have two or more active address books, it asks you where do you want to store the selected card. Lívio ----- Original Message ----- From your message, I assume that your calenders have, at least, two formats and you want to move data between them. I don't think that it's possible just using Calender. Even if you just use one format (vcal or ical) for your calendars, Calendar consolidates the data (appointments) in just one file. This has the advantage that vcal e ical are open formats, so you can use them with other applications. Evolution uses a proprietary format; that can be exported, I think to vcal format. What I advise you to, if it's very important to move erroneous items between calendars, is to use just one calendar file and attribute a Category to each new appointment. I only use vcal local files, but I think that this functionality works with other calendar types. If it's not very important, I advise you to maintains several files or systems for your calendars. Privacy is very important and you can always delete an retype some mistaken appointment. Whenever I enter a new todo, a popup dialog asks me which calendar where the todo item should be added. There've been a couple times where I added a todo to the wrong calendar... ideally, I'd be able to right click and move it to the right calendar. Or, as in evolution's case, I click on the todo's properties, and there's a dropdown for the calendars that I can move it to. Thanks for asking... I should have originally added more details. J.
