Well, by all means, please help us make things better!! =:) And yes, korganizer and kaddressbook have fields and functions that the palm databases lack. Part of the problem is in trying to support and do the right thing for older versions of the palm OS and databases. Part of the problem is that there's a REALLY small pool of kpilot developers (like, you can count them on one hand even if you are short a couple of fingers). As to whether you'd have more luck with Qtopia or opensync, I honestly don't know. The problem isn't so much about running common code on both devices--it's really about how many legacy devices you support, how good your syncing engine is, and how many developers you have working on it.
