Thanks for the heads-up. Here is the fix via Novell. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=181120 Seems as though it applies specifically to KDEClassic icons, which I use needless to say. Hope this may help someone else with what is obviously an obscure problem as I had no other replies, even on this list.
