Hi All,
A friend installed a new 200gb Hard drive using 
´Ghost´ software which I think is MS based? 
Ever since, I have had to reinstal the Mandriva (and KDE) system 4 times due 
to crashing. Luckily, only the system partition, not data. 
Now, I think I will have to format the whole drive and restore my system from 
an external hd backup to solve the problem from re-occuring.
I haven´t done this before, so am a bit wary of losing data.
Any tips on what not to do before I format?
Any help appreciated.
