Hi all,

after upgrading my SuSE 9.2 from KDE 3.3.0 to 3.5.1 I can't send Email using
Kmail.

Apparently there is something broken with the authentication: I just get
this error message displayed with any ISP:

Authentifizierung fehlgeschlagen, An error occured during authentication:
SASL(-4): no mechanism available: No worthy mechs found wird nicht
unterstützt

With KDE 3.3.0 everything was fine. I have tried switching encryption on and
off with no success.
When checking the server with the button on the "Security"-tab, kmail seems
to find out whatever it needs to know - but afterwards it doesn't work out.

To me this looks like a bug. Would you suggest to file a report? Or is this
something simple, does anyone know a workaround/help/what to do?
