Help Syncs and Transfer as Root but only Syncs no transfers as User 
Also I note the Config Wizard chooses /dev/ttyUSB2 or 3 as the deivice and not
/dev/pilot which you will note below I made a soft link to, I don’t understand.
So, I need direction.
Config
  Suse 9.3 2.6.11.4  KDE 3.4.0 b/  Dell 5100 Insiron Laptop
   Pent 4 2.4 ghz  1gig mem..  HD 80 gig

Can ANyone suggest an answer an obvious Permission probelem with some
file or app or link or dev but I can not find the answer.
Works as root but not as User with one exception Notes transfer.
I cannot work as root day to day. 
As user root I synced and info transfered to
KDE Kontact but note Palm Notes Although Kontact
has been configured to accept Notes they never transfered
Can you suggest as to why.

I did this to setup Permissions. Ido not like 666 for these devs but..

I first start KPilot sync. I then start
Palm Zire72 HotSync.
The Two Sync.
Eventually the Palm Gives up
