There is also the fact that modern Palms have a field in the datebook to record location that isn't there in older models, which makes compatibility complicated. Really, the most effective way to do anything about this is to write a (partial) patch. I like patches. You'll be looking to do something in the vcal conduit, in kdepim/kpilot/conduits/vcalconduit.
