Perhaps search yur computer for libisock.so. thanks again! Unfortunately another error occurred which I cannot interpret. I have updated the package libpisock8 and restarted the complete configure/make with clean unpacked packages. Now it stops with the following: lars@hwi01:/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim$ make make all-recursive make[1]: Entering directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim' Making all in kpilot make[2]: Entering directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot' Making all in lib make[3]: Entering directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/lib' make[3]: Für das Ziel »all« ist nichts zu tun. make[3]: Leaving directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/lib' Making all in kpilot make[3]: Entering directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/kpilot' Making all in Icons make[4]: Entering directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/kpilot/Icons' make[4]: Für das Ziel »all« ist nichts zu tun. make[4]: Leaving directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/kpilot/Icons' make[4]: Entering directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/kpilot' /bin/sh ../../libtool --silent --mode=link --tag=CXX g++ -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE -Wcast-align -Wconversion -Wchar-subscripts -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -O2 -Wformat-security -Wmissing-format-attribute -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -o kcm_kpilot.la -rpath /usr/lib/kde3 -L/usr/X11R6/lib -L/usr/share/qt3/lib -L/usr/lib -module -avoid-version -no-undefined -Wl,--no-undefined -Wl,--allow-shlib-undefined kpilotConfigDialog.lo conduitConfigDialog.lo kpilotProbeDialog.lo kpilotConfigWizard.lo dbSelectionDialog.lo pilotDaemonDCOP_stub.lo kpilotConfigDialog_base.lo kpilotConfigDialog2_base.lo kpilotConfigDialog3_base.lo kpilotConfigDialog_viewers.lo kpilotConfigDialog_backup.lo kpilotConfigWizard_base2.lo kpilotConfigWizard_base3.lo dbSelection_base.lo kpilotConfigWizard_address.lo kpilotConfigWizard_notes.lo kpilotConfigWizard_vcal.lo -lkio -lpisock ../lib/libkpilot.la libconfiguration.la /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lreadline collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[4]: *** [kcm_kpilot.la] Fehler 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/kpilot' make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot/kpilot' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim/kpilot' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/mnt/crypt/home/lars/kpilot/kdepim' make: *** [all] Fehler 2 I have installed pilot-link version 0.11.8-10 Debian unstable with the Debian apt-get which worked fine. There is no pilot-link-devel package in the archives. What does the error above mean? I also updated libreadline with apt-get. Do you have an idea again which might help? Thanks a lot for your help!
