I must admit this is my first attempt to build application from sources :(

I followed instructions http://www.slac.com/pilone/kpilot_home/ hoping that
this should be painless experience since I have kpilot installed on my system
and I just wanted to try 4.4.3.

Version: KPilot 4.4.1
Version: pilot-link 0.11.8
Version: KDE 3.2.2
Version: Qt 3.2.3

(BTW: I was confused about warning part below:
gpg --verify kdepim-20040616.tar.gz.asc kdepim-20040616.tar.gz
gpg: Signature made Wed Jun 16 10:25:44 2004 PDT using DSA key ID B571535C
gpg: Good signature from "Adriaan de Groot (KPilot) <groot@kde.org>"
gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature!
gpg: There is no indication that the signature belongs to the owner.
Primary key fingerprint: 96FB 1216 DA64 5521 25DB  6652 F68E 82F3 B571 535C
)

Everything went smooth until I run './configure' which crunched for a minute
or two and came up with following message:
...
checking for libjpeg... -ljpeg
checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (library qt-mt) not found.
Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!.

I use debian sarge and using KPackage manager I ensured that latest libqt-mt
is installed.
Current version of kpilot is using:

tad@lc2430:~/pilot/kdepim$ ldd /usr/bin/kpilot
      ....
        libkdefx.so.4 => /usr/lib/libkdefx.so.4 (0x40838000)
        libqt-mt.so.3 => /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 (0x40865000)
        libpng12.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 (0x40f23000)
        ....
And I do have libqt-mt.so.3.2.3 installed as well.

So my ignorant question is what do I need to do for configure to find it.

Tadek
