Hello,
Knode have server timeout in configuration (and btw. Outlook).
Does Kmail use server response global preferences ? (my mail server have timeout > 1min and
kmail wait 1mn -600 sec. , probably) ?

It will be greta that kmail have server timiout setting in configuration
