Did you export from kaddressbook?  If so, it's easier to copy the 
std.vcf (that's the default filename) to your USB drive, instead of 
exporting.  The default path to it is "~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf".

Again, if it's from kabc > to kabc, then a straight copy is much easier.
