Confirmed, along with a different test failure relating to paths of the form
~username that need to be escaped ending in '/', while ~username paths that
don't need escaped don't end in '/'.

But I'm not sure what the correct behavior is supposed to be either. ossi, if
you're still involved in KShell, any advice you can give?
