Hi there,

I got the same problem with KDE 4.14.3 (Fedora 20).
The problem occured after a "hard-sudden-unwanted" reboot of my computer, so I
agree with Darek on #3 taht the problem occurs after a crash.

As suggested on a thread on the forum:

you can "solve" the problem if you create a new wallet from scratch (you have
to delete the files in ~/kde/share/apps/kwallet/ )
