            Bug ID: 339386
Summary: notification for startup applications needed
           Product: frameworks-knotifyconfig
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kde@davidedmudnson.co.uk
          Reporter: jtmoree@kahalamgmt.com
                CC: kdelibs-bugs@kde.org, mklapetek@kde.org

Apologies, I can't figure out which category to put this into. Also it may
already be available and I just can't find info on the net about it or a bug
for it.

I have an issue every time I restart my desktop where the applications that
will launch automatically take a long time and while I'm waiting I run multiple
copies of every one--which makes it take even longer. The reason this happens
is that I don't remember which apps I have in the autostart settings (from
saving the session in session management I think).

It would be useful for the system to show a notification "hey, I'm starting up
these apps: firefox, chrome, remina, etc." Perhaps in the notification area?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.restart
2.login
3.don't know which apps are starting for me

Actual Results:
i get multple remina's in the task tray and that makes a mess. also multiple
browser launches at the same time seems to be very slow.

Expected Results:
I'd like to see a notifcation showing which apps are launching.

I'm on Kubuntu 14.04 and the libknotifyconfig is 4.13.3 but again, there is
probably a better place to post this.
