Bug ID: 334118
Summary: Kinit assumes everything is installed in only one
prefix
Classification: Unclassified
Product: frameworks-kinit
Version: 4.98.0
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: faure@kde.org
Reporter: cgiboudeaux@gmx.com
CC: kdelibs-bugs@kde.org
Short version:
# which kdeinit5
/kde/inst/5/kinit/bin/kdeinit5
# kdeinit5
libKF5KIOCore.so.5 was not found.
libKF5Parts.so.5 was not found.
libKF5Plasma.so.5 was not found.
kdeinit5: preparing to launch 'libkdeinit5_klauncher'
kdeinit5: Launched KLauncher, pid = 21351, result = 0
---
Longer version:
From http://community.kde.org/Frameworks/Building#Runtime_setup, I get the
impression that the old KDEDIRS env var is now called KF5.
However, kdeinit seems to assume everything is installed in the same prefix
hence the error reported by kdeinit5.
(Jenkins has a similar setup: every module is installed in a different prefix)
