Looks like this bug is the one which made me upgrade my system so congrats, now
I'm running KDE 4.6.5. Interestingly, a number of HDD partitions are now shown
in Dolphin (mounted or not), but mounted drives not associated with a local
physical partitions are still not shown. Tested with both the tmpfs setup shown
above and with an online storage provider (T-Online Mediencenter via WebDAV).
