Summary: More button on file transfer dialogs obscurely
useless?
Product: kdelibs
Version: SVN
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: kdeui
AssignedTo: kdelibs-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: mpartap@gmx.net
Version: SVN (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Please excuse my ignorance, but in the current form, i certainly can not
imagine ANY situation where this button actually makes sense. It just wastes
clicks, presumably in favor of 'better usability' through 'cleaner defaults'.
Is there any good convincing argument for keeping it, despite the effort that
was put in to create it?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Transfer any file.
Actual Results:
One click to see most basic information about the process.
Expected Results:
No click to see the information.
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35.1-07215-ga475f91
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
