I hope someone may be able to help me with this problem. I managed to compile 
KDE3 from CVS, but now KDesktop seems to be crashing on startup. The

All the other modules start OK and I can see the Panel, kicker, etc ... but 
there is n desktop ...

I would appreciate it if someone could direct me as to what may be going on 
...
