You really don't need to mention all that when you're sending a patch. More 
importantly, KDE usually doesn't interact closely with the OS, since we 
abstract it all away in KDELibs and Qt. Of course, KDE's framework is 
acclaimed as being among the best, if not the best.

Kopete's site isn't a wiki.

Thanks for the patch! There has been a lot of discussion lately over the KDE 
websites and the fact that many of them are sorely out of date (see the 
website you are patching was out-of-date on the location kopete is in on 
subversion). Any help is welcome.
