Sorry, but I am clueless as to how to get HELP from anyone at KDE, and
this website is just plain confusing to a newcomer.

I am using the KUBUNTU distribution of "Gutsy Gibbon" and this error has
crashed out ADEPT INSTALLER twice now. Seems there is a new version of
KDE Desktop. Just after I finish downloading and installing all the
available updates, there is a prompt that appears asking whether I want
to try the NEW DESKTOP VERSION. The first time this happened, I opted
YES. The new version never downloaded or installed, but instead ADEPT
Installer was forever after crashed, and the KDE Crash handler was no
help, recommending that I turn in a BUG REPORT to you folks.

I have spent the last 45 minutes on your website trying to figure out
how to do that, to no avail.

I resolved the crashed Adept Installer issue on the first machine by
simply REINSTALLING everything on that machine.

The second machine install went just fine, until, again, after
downloading and installing all the updates, the NEW DESKTOP offer
appeared again. This time I opted NO. But, the same problem occurred
immediately. ADEPT Installer is now locked up, and there seems to be NO
WAY to fix the problem other than to freakin reinstall again. What is
up with that?

Please email me a response as I would like to be able to know how to fix
this, if possible, myself, without having to go thru another total
reinstall.

Thanks! thomchristy@gmail.com
