And our sponsors care about this why?

If they are a good hard-nosed business, they only care because it
improves their corporate image.  Getting such visibility from a
"pure" and unbiased source as kde.org is valuable PR.

So it seems productive and helpful in our sponsor-relations to
quantify and communicate this value in dollar terms, and
establish rules for who get's in and who does not.
