Hi Jason,

   Thank you!
I'll ask Danny to try it out - if he has time - today,
for, I'm at Milwood Branch, APL, today. He watched me
"cry" over this yesterday, and had to bring out a whole
new bag of cat litter!
Does KStars 1.1 incorporate fixes for the Moon Rise
& Set timing tabulation errors (i.e., sometimes out a
day or t[o]o), please?! "Observing" these phenomena
given by KStars 1.0 always works OK for me, however!
The upcoming Partial Solar Eclipse, New Moon at ~
2005 Apr. 08d 20h 32m UT, would be a good test for
KStars 1.1, for, you could time first & last contacts
there at U. of AZ using a telescope, maybe. Does
KStars give an accurate size depiction for the solar
and lunar diameters, please? This is crucial for the
accurate timing of contacts, of course!

shall make you free." (ref.: John 8:32, KJV, 1611)
