It was Tink's decision. She just didn't want to have her work residing inside 
the kde.org domain. She was fed up with people saying her what could and what 
couldn't be put online at kde.org. If you think about it, you'll find at 
least 1 person in particular who was notorious enough among KDE developers 
and who ordered his page to be pulled.

She wanted to avoid this, and put her work on kde.nl which is fairly 
independent from kde.org.
