I don't understand this. The robots.txt on the site is blank, which should 
surely mean that is doesn't block anything.

Additionally, google doesn't seem to have had any problems crawling kde.org 
recently judging from this:

http://216.239.53.100/search?q=cache:eR_coPb5HtQC:www.kde.org/+kde&hl=en&ie=UTF-8

The mail seems to come genuinely from google.com.
