Hi !

I need your help!
I write an article about kde-women for the new project kde-Zine and I have a
draft for the article. But it needs to be longer and ......I don't know what
to add.

Please, please, I am sure you can help me.
Here's an attachment of the draft in HTML.

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Note: this is a first draft of an article for the zine.
<br>Please let <a href="mailto:a-m.mahfouf@lineone.net">me</a> know what you \
                think:<br>
- what about the format? and the links? (should I add more?) <br>
- how will we sign the articles? (alias or real name). We need an homogeneity for \
                that.<br>
- anything wrong with the content<br>
Thank you.<br><br><br>

<h1>KDE women: a new addition to the KDE family</h1>

<a href="http:///women.kde.org/index.html">KDE women</a> was born a few days ago with \
the following goal:<br> <i>"we want to build an international
KDE forum for women by providing a place where women can present what they already \
contribute to KDE and where women, who want to contribute, can find a starting point. \
But the content on these pages is not only for women but for everybody. By doing \
this project we actively want to contribute to the success of KDE."</i><br>
 <br>
 This is another step which shows the actual growth of KDE with the emergence of more \
and more projects.  <br>
 <br> <br><br>
 So I went to interview one of the main character involved.
 <table>
   <tr>
     <td> Katie the dragoness is getting very popular (see her picture on the right) \
and she accepted to answer a few questions:<br> <b>Q</b>: <u>What is your role in \
that project?</u><br> <b>A</b>: Well, of course, I am the boss. My boyfriend Konqi \
is very happy that at last I am getting involved in computers and KDE. What I like \
to do most is to burn CDs and spit firewalls. <p>
  <b>Q</b>: <u>What can I find on the website?</u><br>
  <b>A</b>: My team put together some nice informations, very useful especially for \
beginners. Some tutorials, the Tips and Tricks page, reviews (software, books), \
useful links are waiting for you. <br> </td>
     <td><img src="katiepic.jpg" width=107 height=132 border=0>  </td>
   </tr>
 </table>
 <br>
  <b>Q</b>: Hmmmmm<br>
  <i>I don't want to upset her because when she sees red, it's getting very hot \
nearby</i><br>  <u>And what about men?</u><br>
  <i>I step backward, waiting.... but she answers very nicely.</i><br>
<b>A</b>: <i>Laughing (which is quite scary)</i> Men, what's that? <br>
No, seriously, we don't want to separate from KDE and everyone in my team is
in fact involved in other projects within KDE. We are of course interested in an \
interchange of ideas and opinions. This project wants to coordinate the work of women \
as a part of the overall KDE project and want to help women to get started.
 Since the meaning is not to "occupy" some areas, the input of men is very \
welcome.<br>  <p>
 <b>Q</b>: <u>How do you communicate?</u><br>
 <b>A</b>: We meet on the IRC channel #kde-women (irc.openprojects.net), everyone is \
welcome of course. We also have a mailing list. We need of course more input in the \
web pages, any new add-on will be brilliant. <br>
 <p>
 <b>Q</b>: <u>What do you want to achieve?</u><br>
 <b>A</b>: We want to provide some space for women to express their views. We want \
that in the long run, more women get involved in more areas in KDE and we hope to be \
a sort of launching pad.   <br>  <p>
 Thank you Katie and good luck with the project!
