Hi Ralf,

I normally don't use the Visual Studio, to compile, but only to debug.
For doing so you can call Visual Studio with the program you want to
debug as parameter, and then he creates an empty solution with a target
for the executable. So devenv <program.exe> for Visual Studio Pro and
vcexpress <program.exe> for the express edition. And then you can drag
and drop the source code you want to debug into Visual Studio and set
Breakpoints and run the application. For compiling you can use emerge or
directly nmake/jom. I do this also because the CMake generator cannot
always produce a proper solution, and its far easier to just debug
something, you don't need to setup everything(and do not need to
recompile). And yes for the changed source it does not recompile everything.
