Hi,

yesterday emerge has been extended with mingw x64 support. This mean
that packages for Windows 64 bit os could be build. x64 binary package
will have the x64 in the package name e.g
dbus-x64-mingw-1.3.1-bin.tar.bz2.

To enable x64 build support the following setting in
<emerge-root>/etc/kde-settings.bat has to be present:

set KDECOMPILER=mingw
set EMERGE_ARCHITECTURE=x64

It is suggested to create a separate emerge root dir for x64 package
builds.

Thanks to the work from Patrick von Reth some packages (qt without mysql
support, openssl_beta-src) are already buildable as x64 packages.

BTW: Since version 0.9.6-2 the installer is able to install x64 packages.

Regards
Ralf
