By the way, it seems like the colleges from gnome are also busy setting 
up win64 stuff, see http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries/win64/, so 
may be some efforts could be combined..

Its actually quite sad that open source stuff (mostly the basic 
libraries) for windows is so much cluttered over the internet :(
