I think a split layout is the right decision. Our programs may likely move 
elsewhere (like okteta left us for kdesdk) or simply die (like kfloppy) since 
they simply are no longer needed. A joined repository does not give _us_ any 
advantage as the modules do not have anything in common. Only Friedrich 
will have a harder time when he goes and bumps the version numbers ;)

So until someone cries out now for a merged layout I think we are set for a 
split one.
