Dear list,

I wish to restrict the number of colours KDE uses so I can
ensure that at least 64 colour slots are free for an application
I am running. Palette switching (resulting from no enough free
colours) is becoming very annoying.

Any suggestions about how I can sort this out for KDE? I have no
choice about the hardware and I would rather stop using KDE
and go back to OLVWM than live with the palette switching long
term.

Currently running KDE 2.1 / OSF1 v5.1 on an old alpha

Thanks matt
