I've tried copying my settings (/home/george/.kde/share/config/kickerrc) to
/etc/skel/.kde/share/config and gave the folders and kickerrc full
read-execute permissions and gave root.root ownership. But everytime I start
kde, it just complains that /home/newuser/.kde/share/config is missing and it
still seems to use the hard-coded defaults for the panel -- i.e. Show
Desktop, Control Centre, Home Directory and the KOffice applications.
Thanks,
George
