Thanks Thomas,  your suggestion worked.  I deleted the following 2 files:

/root/.kde2/share/apps/konqueror/konq_history
/root/.kde2/share/config/konq_history

Nice work.  I didn't want my boss snooping around to see every place I've 
ever gone on the net.
