The 'problem' is that libkdefakes came with and was used by 2.1 Beta2 but 
updating kdelibs to the 2.1.0 version will remove it. Of course AFAIK none of 
the new (2.1.0) rpms need it either !

The simplest way to upgrade is to put all of the 2.1.0 rpms into a single 
directory then do
rpm -Uvh --replacefiles  *.rpm

This lets rpm sort out all of the interdependencies.
