Subject:    Disk Navigator problem

When I log on as root and click on a directory in disk navigator the directory opens \
up in a window on the desktop

When I log on as news and do the same thing a window will not open. Also as news I \
cannot open the configure window for the panel.

Can't find where you change this; can anyone help??
