ok, i've checked the kde list archives, and have found many ppl ask this
same question, but i have yet to find some sort of answer. so here goes.

in kde2, i set window behavior focus policy to "focus follows mouse". the
focus works fine. actually a little too well. i move my mouse over
window a. its comes to focus. without moving my mouse, i alt-tab to
window b somewhere else on the screen. after a second or two, focus will
automatically return to window a. in kde1, this wounldnt happen. i
think there was a "sloppy focus" option, but i dont see it in kde2. is
this a bug, or a feature? either way it really really annoys me and
reduces productivity. i hit alt-f2 to open an app, if the mouse isnt over
the open dialog, i lose focus too.

also, i dunno if this is related or not, but my mouse pointer contstantly
blicks every second or so. very annoying.

i originally thought it was related to my scroll mouse, but i have the
same problem on two other machines with regular two button mice. all
three machines are running redhat 6.2, and all three machines were running
kde1 and upgraded via rpm's to kde2.

thanks.
