Thanks for the help Jim,

I have also found some more info by searching other links related to the
same problem, and found these instructions:

They suggest an update of glibc first, then Xfree86, then kde2 binaries.

I have not tried them yet, but it looks like this is what I must do before
running with the instruction you linked in. (Especially for Openlinux 2.3
(kde 1.1.1))

These may be a bit outdated, and maybe someone has an updated version, but I
will try them anyway, and let you know the outcome.
