Subject:    Getting kde to work

Have installed kde2.0, and switchdesk has it listed. but when I tryed to
switch to it, got the white screen with little diamonds and it locked up
everything. Rebooted the computer and used the user login and su the
switchdesk back to gnome and it was fine. Tried to switch to ked again
and noticed that the terminal window sead thar kde was not installed. I
know it is as /usr/... has a lot of kde files in it. maby it does not
know where to find kde. any sugestioins.
