After a long thread with discussion about a graphical interface for 
installing programs Loki seems to have the answer:

This seems to be what we are all talking about, and it works!

I have myself bought most of Loki's game ports, and almost all of these use 
this installer, and it works perfectly!

However, this is a gtk-interface, anybody care to port this to qt/kde ?
