Subject:    Problems upgrading from KDE1.93 TO KDE1.94 using SuSE RPMs

I have tried installing KDE1.94 over KDE1.93 and found some problems. These
are:

1. If you install kbase2 before kutils2 you will have a large number of
conflicts with the 1.93 version of kutils2. Maybe you should install
kutils2 before kbase2?

2. libasound.so.1 is an unresolved dependency needed by kmulti2. You will
need to install ALSA 0.5.8 or ALSA 0.5.9c RPMs first before installing
kmulti2. I checked ALSA 0.5.8 using kpackage and this resulted in a large
number of conflicts with k_deflt.rpm. I don't know what to do next.
Possibly I should uninstall k_deflt.rpm?

3. kdoc2 RPM is apparently missing. Maybe the contents of kdoc2 are now in
other rpms?
