okay........... so i've got kde1.93 up and running.........

looks good but i'm having a couple of probs :-(

i can't install kdemultimedia....... says requires libXaw.so.7

i tried installing Xaw3d-1.5-6mdk from the mandrake cooker..... no joy

i removed all the old .kde and .kderc files from my home directory before i 
started so i could start afresh..... i've got 5 program icons down the bottom 
which don't work.... don't the apps come with the main packages?

it would be nice if it was possible to use the configuration options for the 
desktop

ie
configure background
configure desktop

nothing happens when i try them.

Vadim has been very helpful and at least i've got the main kde installed so i 
can't have gone too far wrong. any chance someone might be able to help with 
this one?
