I found the answer myself:
Comment out the following lines from /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers:
! SECURITY: do not listen for XDMCP or Chooser requests
! Comment out this line if you want to manage X terminals with xdm
DisplayManager.requestPort: 0
These lines should be at the end of the file.
Once again, a nicely documented change on the part of X and Red Hat. Sigh. .

I can't seem to get KDM to allow remote connections from any
system on
my Red Hat 6.2 system. I have enabled access by editing the
Xaccess
file. I can get all of my 6.1 systems to conduct remote X
sessions just
fine. What am I missing for my 6.2 boxes?
