Subject:    Redhat 6.2 & Compiling KDE apps (problems with libraries) [NEWBIE]

So this is my second week with KDE and linux, so don\'t 
expect much anout my skills.

I know that there is several answers to this question in 
the message archive, but i can\'t understand them, so please 
provide me with a step by step guide.

The thing is that when i try to compile any kde apps the 
process fails at configuration phase whit the error message 
of \"your systems fails at linking a small KDE 
appilacation!\" when checking for KDE libraries. I have 
installed all KDE libs from the RH cd, and i haven\'t 
installed anything since.

Please help
