I have seen a few posts on this subject but I am obviously missing the point
somewhere (not for the first time) can somebody enlighten me please :-)
if anyone is interested I am not using the prts for FreeBSD
because I want to try and remain reasonably up to date with kde and
there seems to be some difficulty updating the port versions with source
versions.
1) installed FreeBSD 4.0-RELEASE
2) installed the following
gcc-2.95.2 lha-1.14f bash-2.03 linux_base-6.1
bzip2-0.9.5d cvsup-16.1
3) Installed XF86 Release 4.0
4) Installed vnc-3.3.3r1
5) install KDEsupport.1.1.2
6) installed QT1.45 which required
Mesa-3.0 pm3-forms-1.1. pm3-gui-1.1.13
autoconf-2.13 gmake-3.78.1 m4-1.4
automake-1.4 pm3-net-1.1.13 pm3-base-1.1.13
7) ./configure for kdelibs failed with unable to
determine STL, I found a suggestion here to edit that
KDE_CHECK_STL check out, at which point configure identified
an sgi STL ! and completed ok.
8) on make - we get the dreaded kconfig.moc not found
make all-recursive
Making all in kdecore
/bin/sh ../libtool --silent --mode=compile
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/u
sr/X11R6/include/X11/qt -I/usr/X11R6/include -O2 -Wall -c kconfig.cpp
kconfig.cpp:495: kconfig.moc: No such file or directory

all help gladly welcome
