Hi !

I had the same prob on my machine. Unfurtunely there's no README for
that. Both kde's have same file names one some places in /etc. I solved the
problem, typing rpm -ivh --force kdesupport/kdelibs/kdebase.rpm. So the old
files will be overwritten by the ones.
If you'd like to start kde2 type the startkde-script from /opt/kde2/bin in your
.xinitrc.
Hope it works.
