seems like for me what made the difference was uninstalling qt-2.1.0......i
didn't "take notes" as i was doing it it just finally all worked......:)

from some readme file i read once supposedly you install qt-2.1.0 a specific way
to allow it to exist? with qt-1.45..???
maybe thats part of the problem........

also check the applications website..they might REQUIRE a specific group of libs
etc. to comile against that they used themselves.........

anyway i wish you well and let us know what solves it for you......
