Subject:    krn-0.6.11 install - third time, still unlucky

As the Subject title indicates, my install again ground to a halt
during the `configure' attempt.

However, this time the problem may be readily fixable, if I knew where
to look.

`Configure' complained that it could not find the KDE headers in the
prefix that I shad chosen. 

I have failed to identify where I am supposed to plug in the prefix,
nor am I clear about which prefix (for the KDE path?) to select.  There
are KDE configuration files in several places and I have no clues about
which contains the headers .

Any guidance will be gratefully received.
