That's like saying "If someone needs an easy GUI then they should use windows.

Please.  HTML capability is damn important in an email client.  The ability to
turn it off is just as important.  Limiting a program because of what a few
users don't like is stupid when it causes many people to not use the program
because they want or need HTML support and the complaining users could have
just turned it off with a checkbox instead.

Various text sizes, bulleted lists, clickable links, pictures - these are all
things which make E-Mail better, if larger.  HTML is the method.

When 80-90% would want the feature on by default, it should be set as on by
default.  However, a checkbox in the settings to disable it is important.

So uncheck the "enable HTML" box in settings.  Get a sense of reality -
everything is a security risk, and if you're really that scared of HTML, I
wonder how you browse the web.
