hi,

I produced a small patch that should fix this gap.
Download it from 
	http://www.tm.informatik.uni-frankfurt.de/~hans/
it's in the software section. there is also a small readme
available. it is not very heavily tested but seems to work.
it should be applied to the KDE-1.1.2 sources of kmail.

i would appreciate some comments on this, since its a quick hack.
please contact me if you ran in trouble not the kmail developers.
