Hi,

I have Redhat 6.1 and I am using the KDE that came with it as my desktop.  
I have a problem with the desktop grid.  I would like to place my desktop
icons somewhere on the desktop but the icons snap to the grid.  I have tried
to change the grid's granularity in the control center but that did not
work.  The control center showed granularity of 1 pixel but the actual
desktop grid was the same as before the change.  

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
