Hi folks

ttmkfdir is a utility to produce font.scale files for TrueType fonts. The
problem I had earlier with compiling a working version was fixed simply by
providing a symlink with the library version name ttmkfdir wanted to the
current library version of libtt (so.2 instead of so.2.1.0) 

However, it was written for freetype 1.1 and I've installed Freetype 1.2 as
this is the one supplied as an rpm to implement Ying Zhang Mini-HOWTO at
http://www.sfu.ca/~yzhang/linux/ - which provides a straightforward way to
instal the xfsft font server.

ttmkfdir now runs, and creates the fonts.scale file, but crashes out with a
segmentation fault. Has anyone else tried this? I'm running a vanilla Suse
6.2 system.
